Rich in allegory and maritime allure, the Albion demonstrates the ability of local vernacular to generate sophisticated urbanism and a powerful iconography. Architects Igor Polevitzky and T. Trip Russell created a mixed-use resort complex whose smooth, streamlined skin blends hotel, retail, and office uses into a seamless whole.
