Located at the current north terminus of the Riverwalk, Water Works Park is both a figurative and literal community connector. The Park is expected to serve as a catalyst for development in the immediate neighborhood and within the greater community of Tampa Heights.
The presence and success of a neighborhood asset such as Water Works Park is of great benefit to its neighbors. For far too long the riverfront just north of the Park has been vacant, and the increased interest in the area generated by the new park helps Tampa Heights attract development as a place where people will want to live, work and play.
