Coldwater Gardens Pavilion

Located on a remote site in rural Northern Florida, this contemporary pavilion is the second building to
be completed for an agro-tourist campsite. The client, a 350+ acre farm and forest preserve,
specializes in organic gardening and hydroponics. The property gardens, steps away from the pavilion,
produce mushrooms, greens, and vegetables for sale at local farmer’s markets.
The new event pavilion provides much-needed space for the client to hold agricultural workshops, farmto-
table dinners, and to rent to the community for weddings and other events.
The nearly floor-to-ceiling glazing in the main hall connects guests to the surrounding gardens and
forest. Cypress cladding inside and out, along with the CorTen fascia, ensure that the building will
weather with age.
